JobOn is a Dutch non-profit foundation and national learning community for jobseekers and people in career transition. We support adults through accessible workshops, peer learning, digital skills programmes, volunteer-led events and career development activities. Our work contributes to social sustainability by strengthening inclusion, employability, lifelong learning and equal access to opportunity.

Our Motivation

We would like to join the Digital4Sustainability Alliance to connect with European partners working on digital inclusion, responsible innovation and sustainable skills development. JobOn wants to learn, share practice and contribute our experience in activating adults, jobseekers and underused talent through human-centred digital learning.

Our Contribution

JobOn can contribute practical experience from the Dutch labour market, especially around digital empowerment for adults, jobseekers, 50+ participants, newcomers and people facing barriers to employment. We can bring insights from community-based learning, peer support, career guidance, AI literacy and inclusive programme design. Within the alliance, we hope to exchange good practices, join European initiatives, test new approaches and help make digital sustainability concrete for people who are often not reached by traditional education or labour market systems. Our impact ambition is to make digital transformation more inclusive, human-centred and accessible, so that more people can participate confidently in the future labour market.
