Our Motivation

I am quite excited the Digital4Sustainability initiative exists! It goes directly to the heart of the sustainability transition challenge: Digital tech is essential infrastructure for coping with information complexity and this transition is nothing if not complex. Our collective capability to utilize digital technology fully (and sustainably!) will be a key success factor and D4S can be a catalyst in this direction.

The D4S embodies some of the convictions behind the Open Risk initiative but on a much grander scale. It feels it could be very fruitful to think and further develop our various projects and resources in closer contact with communities pursuing similar goals and facing similar challenges.

Our Contribution

On the basis of the Digital4Sustainability objectives and what Open Risk has been pursuing there is scope for contributions spanning the spectrum of open source software tools, quantitative models and learning to use such resources with the help of eLearning systems. In the first instance the objective is to become a supporter and dive deeper into the project by joining relevant meet-ups.
