Digital4Sustainability Consortium Meets in Zagreb

The Digital4Sustainability project consortium gathered in Zagreb on 20–21 March 2025 for its annual meeting, hosted by Croatian partner Profil Klett and coordinated by the European DIGITAL SME Alliance. The two-day hybrid event brought together project partners from across Europe, both in person and online, to reflect on progress made and chart the way forward for the next phases of the initiative.

Set against the backdrop of the beautiful city of Zagreb, the meeting provided a valuable opportunity for partners to take stock of achievements from the first year of the project and to align on upcoming priorities. Colleagues who were unable to travel joined remotely and remained actively engaged throughout the event.

Discussions focused on several strategic project outcomes, such as the upcoming publication of the European Digital Sustainability Skills Strategy, the development of educational profiles and curricula for future professionals in the field, and the creation of high-quality training resources to support upskilling and reskilling across various sectors

Key sessions also explored lessons learned from pilot training activities, upcoming dissemination and outreach efforts, and the long-term sustainability and scaling-up strategy for the project. Interactive workshops allowed participants to share expertise and shape the development of impactful educational frameworks and materials.

The meeting underscored the collaborative spirit of the consortium and the shared commitment to equipping learners and professionals with the skills needed to leverage digital technologies in driving digital innovation towards social, economic, and environmental sustainability.”

A special thank you goes to the team at Profil Klett for their warm hospitality and to all project partners for their continued dedication and contributions to the success of Digital4Sustainability.
