Digital4Sustainability Urgent Upskilling Programmes across Europe

From November 2024 until January 2025, 12 partners of the Digital4Sustainability project successfully piloted a series of short, hyper-targeted programmes designed to equip professionals with the essential skills needed to address immediate workforce challenges.

Tailored and flexible learning programmes

Distinct from the comprehensive Digital4Sustainability learning programmes, which are set to launch in the next stage of the project, these specialised courses were specifically tailored to meet the urgent demands of the industry, ensuring they remained flexible enough to adapt to the rapidly changing landscape. Delivered via a combination of online webinars and in-person sessions, these courses offered a convenient, accessible approach to professional development.

Identifying urgent skills gaps

The critical roles and skills requiring urgent attention across Europe were identified through the Occupational Profiles & Needs Analysis Report, which served as the foundation for the design and content of the courses.

Impact and reach

During the urgent upskilling courses, Digital4Sustainability successfully reached 468 learners across Europe, empowering them with the knowledge and capabilities to navigate current and future challenges in their respective fields.
